Acoustic Lens - The Acoustic Lens represents the state-of-the-art in pickups for harps. Unlike other single-plane transducers, the unique Triaxial Transducer Technology (T3) of the Acoustic Lens allows it to sense vibration in all three physical planes (horizontal, vertical and lateral), and sums them to produce an incredibly accurate "sonic picture" of your instrument's soundboard.
This ultra-sensitive advanced technology transducer excels at reproducing the warm, woody character of the harp soundboard, coupled with the essential sounds of the rest of the body which most midrib single-plane transducers simply ignore. The Acoustic Lens has been favorably compared to a high-quality microphone, but without all the hassles. You get the same great sound time after time while being free to move about the stage or studio and without having to risk dent contact between an external microphone and the soundboard.
The Acoustic Lens is mounted internally, on the back of the soundboard. The lead to the preamp can then either run out one of the existing access holes in the back of the harp or an external jack can be installed for a true plug and play approach. A special adhesive is used, to attach the Acoustic Lens, which does not damage the harp in any way and can be removed later if so desired. The Acoustic Lens requires few, if any modifications to your prized instrument.
Specifications aside, the most important thing about the Acoustic Lens is that it lets your harp sound like your harp. Other pick-ups give harps a distinctive, amplified sound. An experienced palyer can actually tell one pick-up from another just by listening to the harp. Because of the T3 technology, the Acoustic Lens is transparent. Your harp sounds like your harp, only louder.

Inducer Preamp - The Inducer Preamp is designed to perfectly complement the Acoustic Lens Pickup. The Inducer is a very high quality, very low-noise preamplifier for harpists and harpers who might not want to even add an external jack to their instrument. An internal trimmer allows you to match the Inducer gain with the rest of your system. The output of the Inducer is a low impedance, balanced signal which can be phase reversed for easy control of feedback.
Another feature of the Inducer is a foolproof battery indicator to check the condition of the dual nine-volt batteries. The Inducer is constructed of carefully selected, audiophile-quality discrete components and hybrid parts which deliver high-speed transparent performance and EXTREMELY low noise. A single Inducer may be moved between multiple Acoustic Lens' installed in different harps.
Amulet Stereo Pick-up System - This system combines two Acoustic lens pick-ups with an Amulet stereo preampliifer. The Amulet is a true-stereo system and can also support multiple instrument and pick-up configurations. It is extremely low noise and has a very high dynamic range with direct-coupled circuitry for the ultimate in sensitivity and transparency. Signal levels are provided from microphone level to HOT line level. The Amulet can run on either AC power or batteries and locking cables can be connected together for virtually an unlimited reach. This is a performer's system and is ruggedized for a performance environment.
