Harp Repair Kit
Everyone does it a little differently, but, here is what we take when we travel and what we recommend every harper and harpist keep on hand for performing emergency repairs.
Basic Harp Repair Kit:
- Wood Glue (the yellow Elmer's brand is good)
- Super Glue
- Masking Tape
- 400 grit sandpaper
- Pliers (our needlenose pliers seem to get the most use - jaws covered with masking tape)
- Toothpicks
- WD-40 (with the attached red straw)
- Rubber Mallet (one rubber head and one plastic head is most useful)
- An 11/64 Allen Wrench (if you have Loveland levers)
- Either a flathead or Phillips screwdriver, depending upon the screw type (if you have Robinson levers)
- One or two good, clean work rags
